What they're doing now: I graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in political science and communication studies in May 2000 and am now (Fall 2001) beginning my second year of graduate study at the University of Michigan^s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy. I^m concentrating in social welfare and labor market policy--and tailgating at U-M football games. I spent the summer of 2001 interning in Washington, D.C. at Americans for Democratic Action (ADA), a liberal, non-profit policy advocacy org. founded in 1947 by Eleanor Roosevelt, John K. Galbraith, and Hubert Humphrey among others. After graduation, I^ll probably seek employment with a lobbying firm, think-tank, or perhaps work on somebody^s campaign. I look forward to seeing you all in five years.
