Claim to Fame: Student Government President in senior year and Vice President in junior year, Yearbook Editor-in-Chief senior year, named "Most Actively Involved" by senior class, in choir, newspaper, PNN, and all that good stuff. But you^ll probably remember me as the guy with the camera!
What they're doing now: Since MHS I’ve lived in Boston, Seattle, Alaska and where I am now: New York City. in late 2000 I took a job as Senior Designer for Conde Nast Traveler. It’s a travel magazine, produced by the same people who do Vogue, Vanity Fair, GQ and the New Yorker. Our offices are smack in the middle of Times Sq. Which was exciting maybe the first year there. Now imagine pushing through crowds of tourists ever day just to get to work! But I do feel so lucky to be able to do something everyday that I love. In the city, I play on an ice hockey team (the NYC Tigers) and practice my photography. So yeah, I’m still that guy with the camera. Another passion I’ve found though that lets me really take advantage of having a camera is traveling. In the past few years I’ve been able to circle North America taking pictures. Even caught a fishing boat up into Alaska to see the Northern lights from the arctic. Also got to go to live with a bush tribe in Africa--was in Morocco, Niger, and Ivory Coast. I was there when the World Trade Center was attacked, in Morocco--North Africa. Completely stuck because of the planes being grounded I took a train to the Mediterranean and a boat across to Spain, then backpacked across Spain and France to get to London for a flight home. That trip has me being considered for my next job: to be the Art Director of National Geographic’s travel magazine, ADVENTURE.
